The guessing game is finally over. Sun Pictures' Endhiran, which features Ranikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, would have popular Bollywood actor Danny Denzongpa playing the baddie.
The shooting of the film, directed by Shankar, was on at a brisk phase in Vellore, where some important scenes featuring Rajini and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were being shot. It is learnt that Denzongpa will soon join the unit.
Denzongpa, who started his career by singing Indian and Nepali songs has acted in numerous Hindi films. He has also starred in some international projects, the most famous being 'Seven Years in Tibet' where he acted alongside Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.
In 2003, Denzongpa was awarded the Padma Shree, India's fourth highest civilian honor.
Meanwhile Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai will be shaking their legs at a huge set being erected at AVM Studios where a song sequence is to be shot. |
