Ash gets Rajini’s blessings

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not just took Superstar Rajinkanth, but the entire ‘Endhiran’ unit by surprise, when she touched the top actor’s feet to seek his blessings during the last day of the shooting of the film last week. According to reports, the former Miss World found it hard to leave the place (Sun Studios on the outskirts of Chennai), as she became very close to each and every member of the cast and crew of the movie which was shot for almost two years. “After the last shot was filmed, Aishwarya touched the Superstar’s feet seeking his blessing. Rajini, who didn’t expect this, was shocked initially but soon composed himself and blessed her,” reports said. Now that the shooting has been completed, Sun Pictures, the producers of this multicrore extravaganza, is getting ready for the release of the film. The initial focus is on the audio launch which is slated to happen at the end of this month in Malaysia.

ENDHIRAN’S RELEASE DATE!

The most-expected film of the year – Endhiran – is complete. The shooting was completely wrapped up on July 8th. To celebrate this, a bash was arranged in which Rajinikanth, his daughter Soundarya, Aishwarya Rai and the entire Shankar team participated. With the shooting over, the talks now doing rounds in Kollywood is the release date of Endhiran. While some sources say that it could be released on August 15, other sources point out that it may hit the screens on September 5th. It is well-known in the film industry circles that Shankar is a strong believer in numerology and his wrapping up of Endhiran on July 8th stands testimony to this. Going by this, the film may be released on September 5th, as the number added with the month and year sums up to 8.

‘Endhiran’ audio on July 31

Now it is almost confirmed it is going to be the mother of all Indian cinema extravaganzas. It is going to be the biggest ever Tamil filmy event ever happened anywhere in the world. The audio of ‘Endhiran’ will be released in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in a never before star studded event on July 31 this year. The music launch will be attended by the biggest stars on Indian cinema including Amitabh Bachchan and the ‘Endhiran’ super stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai and others. The magnificent event is being organized by HBO that releases ‘Endhiran’ worldwide. The super star's magnum opus will be released in over 300 screens across the world that makes ‘Endhiran’ the largest worldwide release ever only after Spiderman.

2000 prints for ‘Endhiran’

The budget size of ‘Endhiran’ is getting bigger and bigger as it is nearing the D-day. The magnum opus of Shankar was touted to be a 100 crore project when it was launched in 2008. Then it was said to be 120 cores and when Sun Pictures took over the film ‘Endhiran’ was billed as a 150 crore production. Now the new buzz is the cost of ‘Endhiran’ has touched around 200 crores. The other news is that ‘Endhiran’ will be a mammoth worldwide release and the Rajinikanth starrer will also be released in China where the super star has a fan following just as in Japan. So to cater to all the markets ‘Endhiran’ will be out in more than 2000 pints so that there is no place in the world which is not touched by the magnetism of the super star. We had already reported that the music launch of ‘Endhiran’ will happen in Malaysia. There will also be a music release function for the Tamil Nadu fans during the first week of August our sources say.

Vairamuthu on ‘Endhiran’ songs

Vairamuthu, who has written three songs in ‘Endhiran’ has said each and every song in the movie will be a treat to music lovers as well as movie buffs. “Shankar is one of the filmmakers who take immense care while shooting song sequences. Equally so is A R Rahman, who gives nothing but his best to each song he composes. Their combo will rock in ‘Endhiran’,” he said. Elaborating on ‘Endhiran’ songs, he said, “I have penned three songs for the movie. One is a romantic number which describes a robot’s love for a beautiful woman, while the second throws light on the way a robot is made.” On the third number, he said, “it is about a violent love. Revealing one of the lines, he said, “We have mixed human emotions with science in that number. One perfect example is- Vannathu poochi kaalgalaal rusi ariyum, indha kaadhal poochi kangalaal rusi ariyum.” A treat is waiting for Diwali.
